On 14th April 2002 Herbert and Herbert were invited to play at the very first Gol Gol Pub Bierfest.The Gol Gol Pub is located in Gol Gol near Mildura and is set in magnificent surroundings on the banks of the River Murray. Herbert and Herbert provided the entertainment that made the atmosphere just perfect and had the 300 plus patrons swinging to traditional German/Austrian music and some great dance music.

Highlights included the very funny Tiroler Hat Game and the men trying out their strength by entering the very first Gol Gol Bierfest Bierstein lifting competition. The winner with a time of 4min 30 sec won his height in beer slabs and his mates were celebrating the win for most of the afternoon. The Bierfest had a great selection of beers to try and the traditional food that was available had the patrons coming back for more.

The Gol Gol Bierfest 2002 was a great success and Herbert and Herbert are very proud to have been associated with this fantastic event.
