Sigrid was born
in Hamburg in1947 and lived there until 1997 before emigrating
to Adelaide to be with her now husband David. She worked as an
accountant in Hamburg and for the 16 years before she
emigrated was employed with a well known security company
where she also acted as a “prokurist”. She has one son born in
1973 who is still living in Hamburg.
Sigrid started part time work shortly after her arrival in
Adelaide with Anders Cakes in the popular beachside suburb of
Glenelg serving locals and tourists alike. Shortly afterwards
she gained employment at the SA German Association (German
Club) as bookkeeper. Since 2001 she is working full time at
the Honorary German Consulate office in Adelaide as Secretary. |
