The History of The German Voice SA

The German Radio Committee came to EBI in 1977 to start broadcasting in the German language. Long before that the Germans had a program on Commercial Radio supported by the German business community amongst them the late Hans Lies, who became the founding Chairman of the German Voice.

The German Voice team was for many years very active under the leadership of Hans Renner. Hans played an integral part in the development of the German Voice radio program and was a former Secretary-Treasurer, Chairman and life member, presenting his own program for more than 30 years. Today the renowned Dieter Fabig is in the helm, steering the committee and members into the unchartered waters of the future.
