The "Austrian Seniors Group" was formed
by 14 pensioners on 25th August 1988 under the leadership of Max
Hummel. The pensioners meet every second Thursday in the cellar of
the Austrian club house for a social gathering with coffee and cake.
Bingo is played and also card games. Once or twice a year a bus tour
is organised. We also visit restaurants or have chicken barbecues in
the Austrian club rooms.
Over the years our membership has increased from 14 to 60. New
pensioners (who have to be members of the Austrian Association) or
visitors are always very welcome.
